Dybal and Berardi

Young Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, a player who had already agreed to join Juventus when we were being linked with him. The 22-year-old (23in November) had a very successful season scoring 23 goals in 45 games for the Italian champions after his £24 million (31.33m EUR - US$35.29m) summer move.

Real Madrid are taking a keen interest in him although the player himself says he is staying at Juventus. The Italians want to build a side to win the Champions League and he is likely to start in their side while at real Madrid he may have to sit on the bench.

Juventus are also involved with another player we have been linked with. Our press tried to claim we would pay £25 million for Domenico Berardi, which is complete nonsense. As I wrote at the time these stories surfaced he has a buy-back clause in his contract with Juventus set much lower.

Juventus have held talks with Sassuolo and Inter Mulan are mentioned as well. Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta met with Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali in Turin on Wednesday to discuss details of Berardi’s move to the black and white stripes of the Italian champions.

You have to go back to December and you'll see the real story here.

Spurs have not bid £25m for Berardi

As reported then, Juventus co-own Berardi and have set fee buy-back clauses they can activate if they wish and all reports have said they will take up this summer for £14.79-million (US$21.95m - AUS$30.11m - €20m).
