Frenchman wants Pochettino at PSG

I see a Frenchman, Daniel Riolo of RMC, has suggested Mauricio Pochettino to take over at PSG should they need a new manager in the summer. Fans are not happy that they have again gone out of the UEFA Champions League, nor are the press.

I remember them suggesting that Hugo Lloris had a buyout clause in his contract, which wasn't true and this is a piece of creative reporting by some.

The journalist was merely throwing a name into the melting pot should PSG dispense with the services of Laurent Blanc. Pochettino, as many do, once said he would like to return to PSG one day. This is not recent and there isn't the slightest suggestion he has suggested he wants to go there.

Just as there was no chance of Hugo Lloris signing for PSG last summer there is no chance of Pochettino joining them this summer. Club Ambassador Ledley King spoke to OMnisport and is sure the Argentinian will be a Tottenham for a long time.

"I hope he stays. We've lost our top players in the past which is always difficult to come back from. But I believe we have a manager who'll be around for a long time to develop this group of players. He's started something he wants to see out and hopefully the players feel the same way.
"The objective at the start of the season would have been to try to finish in the Champions League spots. But the team has exceeded that. It's a great position to be in.
"You can see they enjoy playing together, they have a young, hungry manager. He's had a huge impact - you can see how comfortable the players are playing with each other. He deserves a lot of credit.
"The team has a good age, but a lot of maturity, which belies some of the age group. For someone like Dele [Alli] to perform the way he is is unbelievable. The future is really bright. Hopefully we see Tottenham competing for titles for years to come."

Those that don't get drawn into press nonsense will have no worries over his future, those that do will no doubt panic.
