VIDEO: Son vs Leicester City (Individual game)

Son Heung-min put on an excellent display against Leicester City ion the FA Cup replay during the week scoring the opener with a 65mph (104.6 km/h) shot.

He engineered room for a quick strike and the speed of the shot beat Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel at his near post. Throughout the game he showed great ball control, a first touch taking the ball into the area where he can immediately get on with play as opposed to controlling and then having to move the ball to get it in the position you want. It is all about the angle of the foot as you receive the ball.

Controlling the ball into areas with the inside or outside of the foot, especially away from markers, allows you to either keep your body in the way of an opponent or into an area where you can easily move past them and take them out of the game. That and vision is why some players seem to have more time on the ball than others.

His pass for the second goal simply looks better each time I see it.
