 I'm not sure why some people were suggesting Fazio would play against Leicester City when we are trying to sell him. Quite apart from the fact that he is in Spain, it would be quite silly to play him in case he picked up an injury. That would scupper any deal and a deal is fully expected to be completed. Mauricio Pochettino is not silly, he and Andros Townsend won't get a game before the end of January.

 Spurs may have turned down their first offer but a deal will eventually be struck that guarantees his departure. That could be a permanent transfer or it could be a loan until the end of the season and a guaranteed purchase at the end of the season.

 The Spanish press are constantly talking about Fazio wanting the deal completed quickly and they have no doubt a deal will be done in the end. They also feel that Sevilla will stick to a low offer and get him cheaply.
