The stories behind the days big story

As ever this sites provides much more than the tedium of news regurgitation, there are views and discussion points plus answers to questions that have arisen such as can Spurs move into the new stadium after the extended construction date, now December 2018, so mid-season.

If you haven't already read the article regarding the importance of the NFL in last night's decision and the judicial review English Heritage have already said they would pursue prior to the meeting then you can read more behind the stories at the following links.

Also, there is an article at 8.30pm GMT tonight with the figures Tottenham Hotspur submitted to the Haringey Council Planning Sub Committee to back up our application and show our expected costs and increased income. Make sure you return at 8.30pm tonight.

07.30am - Next Hurdle Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has to give formal approval
08.30am - £750-million New Stadium: The Game Changer - this is much bigger than just the number of fans we can sit inside the new stadium, way, way bigger.
10.30am - Ground question as construction date is extended - construction now extends into a second season so how does that affect us?
12.30pm - Club figures show expected revenue increases - gap to close significantly on Liverpool even under conservative estimates.

There is a further article tonight on what was a monumental evening in the history of this great club, an evening where our hopes took a stride forward thanks to the plans put in place by the apparent arch-enemy of the one track-minders, Daniel Levy.

  1. Daniel Levy is a genius, 61k stadium to celebrate the year that we last won the league. We are very lucky to have him.

  2. So you are blaming Levy for not winning the league (which is virtually impossible on our income anyway) in the 60's, 70's 80's and 90's. Incredible.

  3. Try reading it again, I'm celebrating the glorious double season in 61, as is Daniel.

I'm not even sure he was born then. So not sure what clever point you are trying to make.

  4. Delighted you are on track, had read it as sarcastic. Best chairman we have had in my living memory.
