Spurs in talk over £8.32m winger

Just a few weeks until the transfer window opens again and clubs are talking to players over potential transfer moves. Tottenham are busy and reports coming out of Spain say we have opened negotiations with Celta Vigo over Spanish winger Nolito.

He is said to be a top transfer target for Barcelona who have Nessi, Suarez and Neymar playing up front. Arsenal are also said to be in talks while Southampton, Aston Villa, Stoke City, Chelsea, WBA and Bournemouth are just a few of the clubs said to have scouted him.

A move would be a surprise given he is 29 (30 next October) but his release clause is said to be just £8.32-million (US$12.60m - AUS$17.43m - €11.5m).

The story emanates from Espiritu Deportivo who suggest we have intensified our interest and that the striker will be leaving soon, despite having a contract until 2017. Our interest in him is not new, we have been watching him for a while now. I say striker, he plays from the left and has notched 8 goals in 14 La Liga games this season with a further 5 assists.
