Marcus Edwards signs first pro contract

 Fantastic news considering Barcelona have him on their list of the next generation of best players, Marcus Edwards has signed his first pro contract with Tottenham.

I've heard today that Marcus Edwards has signed a pro contract. #THFC

There has been speculation that he might leave, there were rumours that he was unhappy prior to his last deal but that his family were very keen for him to stay at Tottenham. They were said to be happy with the club and for his future development to be here. 

 This follows on recent deals others like Josh Onomah, Luke McGee, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Harry Winks. To have a conveyor belt of talent you have to have raw talent going in one end, hence our upgrading of the scouting network since Mitchell has arrived and our continur=ed scouting of 16 and 17 year-old youngsters. At 17 a player can sign a professional contract and he can sign that with anyone, it doesn't have to be with the club whose academy he has come through. 

 To have Edwards signed to a new pro contract and for him to be happy at the club is a big plus. He will be one to watch develop.
