Ground question as construction date is extended

Tottenham made a late submission to Haringey Council during the meeting which asked for an extension to the Northumberland Development Project construction timeframe from August 2018 to December 2018.

This has caused speculation surrounding grounds, will we have to have two grounds, will we be away from White Hart Lane for two seasons not one?

The answer of the number of venues can be answered because Richard Scudamore has made it plain previously that a club can not have two home grounds in one season, all home games must be at the same venue.

“They’d have to play in the same stadium for the entire year. For the integrity of the competition. You can’t have 19 home games with 10 at Milton Keynes and nine at Wembley – completely, completely unfair. That won’t be allowed in our competition.”

I am not a construction man but with Scudamore's words in mind I'm sure Spurs will want to be in the stadium for the 2018/19 season and that the finishing touches to the project won't impact upon that.
