Dier & Bentaleb nominated for Euro award

The Golden Boy Award was started in 2003 by Italian newspaper Tuttosport and is an award for players under the age of 21 playing in top tier European football.

It is voted for by top European newspapers that include Bild, Blick, A Bola, l'Équipe, France Football, Marca, Mundo Deportivo, Ta Nea, Sport Express, De Telegraaf and The Times.

Each nominates 5 players and the voting is 10 points, 7, 5, 3 and 1 point for the fifth choice. The winner of the award is announced in December.

Eric Dier and Nabil Bentaleb have both been nominated and appear in a list of 40 players.
