Tottenham News Shorts - Issue 11 yesterday morning included a congratulations to Jürgen Klinsmann and the USA. It suggested a European club should snap up 20 year-old right-back DeAndre Yedlin, a view now picked up on by others.

No repeat of last summer's transfer mistakes is a reference to the failure to sign a left-back leaving us somewhat in the lurch with only Danny Rose, thanks to AVB having a spat with Benny.

Right let's get into the Tottenham News Shorts - Issue 12, recent news which concerns Kevin Stewart, Lawrence Vigouroux, Premier League and Orient, Belgium, Grant Hall and the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation.

Two of our youngsters sign for Liverpool, Kevin Stewart and Lawrence Vigouroux, they of course have our former coach Alex Inglethorpe looking after their youngsters.

Kevin Stewart is a 20 year-old centre-back who is clearly a Liverpool fan for some reason.

"Delighted to have signed for LFC! Its been a dream of mine from a kid! Thank you for all of the welcoming messages!"

Lawrence Vigouroux is a 20 year-old goalkeeper who had a trial at Liverpool earlier this year.

"So happy to have joined LFC, what a massive club, can't wait to start!"

Both have signed 2 year-contracts.

The Premier League have bought off Leyton Orient for an undisclosed amount so the club will drop it's objection to West Ham moving into the Olympic Stadium in breach of their own rules.

No club may move to within 2 miles of another club unless of course one does and then bribes are needed, not that anyone has been bribed, heaven forbid!

Rules are rules, until the rule gets in the way, then the rule is not a rule but a rule to be ignored until trouble is averted, then the rule becomes a rule again to be enforced by the ruling organisation.

Everything to do with the Olympic Stadium is all above board, honest guv, as partners sleeping in the same bed we don't talk. Naturally everyone believed that.

Belgium players do a selfie taken by Eden Hazard but quite what a pale and young looking Peter Andre is doing in the shot I don't know.

Lee Clarke has gone down the route of signing players for Birmingham City rather than relying on loan players. However the former Newcastle United player signed Grant Hall from Spurs on a season long loan a few weeks ago. He felt Hall was a good quality youngster.

"First and foremost from last season we need to eradicate the goals against column which is why we've brought in some really good defenders - in Jonathan Grounds, Grant Hall, Gavin Gunning, and David Edgar, coupled with the ones we've got and Neal Eardley coming back."

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's CEO, Grant Cornwell MBE, was delighted to join staff and students from Haringey Sixth Form Centre for a celebration of diversity earlier this week.

“We’re committed to continuing to deliver high quality futsal coaching and look forward to working with the staff at the college to deliver education and futsal opportunities for the BTEC Sport students over the coming years.”
