Will Italians stump up the cash?
Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis was asked by the Italian media about transfer target and specifically Tottenham pair Erik Lamela and Sandro.
He admitted they wanted to sign Lamela and that they watch Sandro. Napoli finished third in Serie A and will be in the Champions League again so have a carrot to offer the Tottenham pair.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is in no rush to let Sandro go but it does seem that the player wants to move. I still think the reported fees are inaccurate, I've seen £11.3 to £14.5 million, neither of which reflect his ability. He proved himself to be one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe in 2012/13 and one poor season hasn't diminished that ability.
The prices being quoted are bargain prices for the talented 25 year-old Brazilian who looks a perfect match for the Mauricio Pochettino system of play.

Argentine Erik Lamela is leaving or staying depending upon which way you want to look at things.
My take is that the 22 year-old is staying. I can't see an Italian side splashing our £25 million on him and surely we wouldn't have sent him to Argentina to train if we had any intention of letting him go.
He may be struggling to adjust and it's an opportune time to visit his family but the fact we have sent a team medic to oversee his training suggests to me we are doing all we can to get a return on our investment on the playing field next season.
I'm sure clubs like Milan, Inter and Napoli would love to have him but they'll want a bargain and bargains are not Daniel Levy's forte when it come to selling players.
