Napoli want Sandro & Lamela
Napoli are the latest Italian club who want to sign Erik Lamela and Rafa Benitez also wants Sandro to join him as he prepares a squad for the Champions League next season.
In return they want to offer us a 30 year-old attacker who doesn't fit with our buy youth policy, Goran Pandev. The Macedonian played 29 Serie A matches but came on as a substitute 12 times and was substituted off 15 times which means he only actually stayed on the pitch for the whole match in 2 games.
During that time he scored 7 goals and had 7 assists so unless he is happy to sit on a bench the move would seem unlikely. When you consider Sandro and Lamela would cost £50 million, getting a bench warmer in return is hardly an appealing bit of business.
Erik Lamela's brother has previously said on Twitter that Lemela is going nowhere and is staying at Tottenham next season, while Sandro who was unsettled and looking to leave, has now said he wants to stay. His change of heart is as a direct result of Tim Sherwood leaving.

There are plenty of clubs in Italy who want to sign Lamela which does rather indicate that he is a talented footballer, a talent Spurs will be hoping to see next season once he gets a full pre-season under his belt.
