Inter and Roma want Paulinho

Both Inter Milan and Roma are said to be interested in taking Paulinho off Tottenham's hands.

Inter and Roma want Paulinho

Reports in Brazil suggest Chelsea have a £28.76 million deal to take the Brazilian to Stamford Bridge after the World Cup. Reports in Europe suggest it is Italy where he's wanted.

Inter Milan are looking to rebuild their squad and hope Paulinho will join Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic as a part of that. Signed only last summer he has shown flashes of quality early on but rarely anything since. His season can be described as average at best, no better than a hundred others players could have produced that would have cost considerably less than £17 million.

Roma have also been reported to be interested in signing him as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next seasons Champions League.

Daniel Levy won't have any interest in letting the 25 year-old go for anything less than what he paid for him if indeed he does leave The Lane at all. There is clearly more to come from Paulinho and with the World Cup out of the way I'd expect him to produce a far higher level of performance next season.
