Third third in our series looking at managerial candidates from international teams taking part in the 2014 World Cup this summer in Brazil.
World Cup Candidate Number 3:
Alberto Zaccheroni (Japan) age 61 - contract until end of 2014 World Cup
Today we will take a look at an outsider, Italian Alberto Zaccheroni who will be unknown to many English fans.
He has been a manager for 31 years largely in Italy, after his playing career was cut short by injury. He has managed the big as well as smaller clubs in Serie A as the following list shows.

He used to employ what would be an unconventional system for the Premier League, a 3-4-3 formation and won the Italian title with it in 1998-98 with AC Milan. Now with Japan he takes a 4-2-3-1 approach with skilful passing football as his trademark.
His career is littered with being called on mid season to try and avoid relegation or change a teams fortunes and has never really settled at a club as a result.

In 2006 he was linked with the vacant Crystal Palace managers job but eventually stayed in Italy. His profile is not one Spurs fans would take to especially if they remember his Juventus side thrashed 4-1 by Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Europa League in 2010.
In his first game in charge of Japan they beat Argentina 1-0 and he has won a couple of Asian trophies with them, the 2011 AFC Asian Cup beating Australia and EAFF East Asian Cup in 2013.
Available candidates look few and far between but even so his appointment would be a shock larger than Tim Sherwood proportions.
P.S. For all of you mentioning Klinsmann he has signed a contract with the USA until 2018
