Spurs Worst Player of the Year
I saw an article about Spurs player of the Year and suggesting names, I'll have to go and have a read but it got me thinking, do we have a player of the year?
We have probably only 3 options for player of the year and only one of them has played a full season, a stand out for young player of the year and a whole host of candidates for worst player of the year.
Emmanuel Adebayor has only been playing for half a season and has been our outstanding player. Christian Eriksen has only started playing in the last few months, prior to that he was ordinary.
Hugo Lloris has been consistent, he makes his one mistake a game, some he gets away with some he doesn't, but he has been trying so must be worth a few votes.
Nobody in the defence is even worth a mention. Dembele is permanently complaining about his hip and hasn't been as good as last season. Paulinho started brightly, missed a lot of opportunities and then his form disappeared after Charlie set out to get him.
Sandro has been struggling with fitness and form, lennon has been bits and pieces, Townsend put anyone behind the goal in danger, Chadli has been performing for a month and Nabil Bentaleb like Ade has been performing with credit but only for a few months.
There are plenty of Spurs fans who don't understand his role in the team and whether they like it or not he was excellent against Newcastle and Benfica particularly. He has generally been a solid first team player since the end of December.

Spurs Worst Player of the Year: Hang on let's have a raffle it'll be easier but if you are really going to twist my arm then Danny Rose.
