Defender Leaves the Lane

Paul Stalteri has signed for Fulham on a free. The Canadian full-back has been out on loan at Fulham since January 2008 and had previously stated that he would like to sign a permanent deal, whether Fulham are relegated or not.

His wish has been granted and he will officially sign for Fulham on 1st July 2008.

Paul Stalteri played 35 times for Spurs and will be remembered for his last minute goal in the thrilling 3-4 win at Upton Park against West Ham in the 2006/2007 season.

I'm glad to see that he's gone. If it wasn't for that west ham goal, then I wouldn't know what to think of him.

He played well in his first season, although I did feel that he was a bit weak at times.

How much did we sign him for?

I think that he played better in midfeild than at rb. He was ok, but not at the levle to play for spurs.

Lame player. He's moved to a lame side to. I hope Fulham go down.

The lad gives his all when he plays and he's got heart. If only other EPL players had the same character.

Its a shame that he didnt have more skill as a player and that he lacked pace. Other than that, he was a super pro for us.

He'll be the first of many in a massive clearout. I expect a further 10 players to leave spurs.

got him on a bosman from werder bremen so who cares. just not could enough and also capable of a mistake (as he has shown with fulham already). add him to their list of tottenham rejects.

Im a Fulham fan and I think he's a good player. He's got another season in him at least. Good bit of business if you ask me.
