Attacking Full-Back Signs!

Spurs have finally got their man in Alan Hutton, which hopefully spells the end of money-grabbing Chimbonda.

£9 million (or thereabouts) may seem a lot on a right-back; but what a right-back we've signed! He's pacey, has an abundance of stamina and is probably the best crosser of the ball in our squad after Gareth Bale.

It will be an absolute joy watching Bale and Hutton bomb down the flanks. For the first time in a long time, Spurs have two great attacking full-backs. I just hope Gareth can get fit so as to really push the side on.

Hutton will surely make his debut against Manchester United on Saturday, 2nd February 2008. Maybe he'll show Sir Alex exactly what he missed out on?

It has also been reported that we've accepted a bid from Villa for Kevin-Prince Boateng. If this is true, I believe that the player should have at least been given a year to prove his worth.

It looks as though Routledge will also sign for Villa in a 4 and a half year deal. Ramos seems to be really taking this Spurs squad by the scruff of the neck.

At last, a manager that isn't scared to do things his way!

I am a bit miffed with this signing. Isnt it obvious that he didnt want to come to WHL? He was pushed into the decision by Rangers.

I can see him to a Barry Ferguson on us and leaving after a year for £3 mil

Where did you get the info that Aston Vila are going to sign Boetang?

What reports have you got that from THBN?

I can see him being a really influential signing for us. He isnt as fast as Lennon (but then again, who is?), but he is very fast.

Im surprised that you didnt state how good his long range shooting is THBN?

I've just heard an interesting story from a mate who works in Fleet Street, Tottenham are doing a deal with Villa for Gareth Barry - Chimbonda, Price-Botaeng and Routeledge for Barry - COYS!

Is this another crappy Commoli signing or has Ramos been to watch this kid?

Anyone got any info on that?

Don't you all think it's a bit strange that the club don't have Hutton pictured in a Spurs shirt?

The fact that the player himself stated that he wanted a move to Manchester United has put the stops on me.

It took him nearly 1 month to make his mind up??

You either want to play for Tottenham Hotspur, or not. In the end, he'll probably leave and blame Rangers for making him move down south.

We need players that will give all their heart for the club, not players in the state of mind Hutton is in!

There may be some truth in that 2:15. We've also been told the same thing.

We've heard that Villa want a further £6 million.

I personally don't think it's true though. Why would Villa sell their best player when they are doing so well??

Regards

Gilberto da Silva will also sign by this evening.

Woodgate will play alongside Kaboul against Everton, with King being on the bench.

there are alot of articles circulating the net right now, that spurs have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £3.5mm for Prince. Also Routledge is "apparently" going for a medical with villa off the back of a £2mm agreement.

one thing im baffled by is why we are selling prince right after we have signed him 6 months ago...surely the kid needs to be tested a bit more...he is young too. hopefully its a loan and not sale.

im hoping that either means we are bringing in some experienced legs, in the form of world class midfielders...

Has been labelled Scotland's answer to Kafu and he will be worth every penny.

He is a fantastic, pacy and exciting full back who is not afraid to tackle. With bags of skill and a mean right foot - left foot not too bad either - honestly believe that if he can settle in with the rest of the lads he will be the newest in a long line of brilliant Scottish Spurs!

Think there were a couple of reasons he was stalling. The fact that his missus is about to give birth must have been a huge factor and I think he probably wanted to stay at Rangers to see where their season was going to end up.

Although he 'may' get a Premier League winners medal at the end of the season, sure he would have preferred to have seen their campaign through and be part of the celebrations before saying his goodbyes.

£9 mil! ill be worth double that when he starts wading in with several goals a season!!!
