It’s been reported that Russia’s international captain, Andrei Arshavin, has labelled England’s and Tottenham’s number one keeper, “the weakest link”.
What was Arshavin thinking when he made that statement? It’s strange that many professional footballers and managers alike seem to think that it will be of some benefit if they air their views against the opposition?
McClaren need only show the article to Robinson for the desired effect. I am sure Robbo will be evermore driven for the match at Wembley against Russia.

I think the media and fans are pathetic. I don't think McClaren is the right guy for the job.
It seems that many had the same feelings as myself last week, but one win makes McClaren God, and we'll definitely win the group.
Get real. I'm a Liverpool supporter and know many fans that are fickle.

I am an Arsenal fan but used to be a Spurs fan when I much younger.
I think that Spurs finally have a better team than Arsenal and that England remind me a lot of Spurs in the way the supporters are.
We've heard nothing from anyone saying that ENIC are prepared to sell the club. We have read what some of the papers have said but believe none of it.
If the share-price in Tottenham Hotspur shows an influenced increase within the next few days, we'll try and find some evidence of a buyout, although we find it highly unlikely that ENIC would sell before the club made the Champions League.
